A Challenge by Me and a Freebie for You

I love the challenges on the Little Dreamer Designs blog. Have you tried any? They are fun, you can win gift certificates to the Little Dreamer Shoppe (I won one on Saturday…page down to the end of the post to see my page!), and they aren’t over the top bizarre challenges! They are realistic, but they stretch me to try some new things. I just completed this layout for Dagmar’s Recipe Challenge. And, you get a freebie with the papers and some of the embellishments that I used to complete the challenge!

The challenge recipe was to use a baby picture of yourself (yup, that's me!), the colors brown a blue, 5 stitches, 3 elements almost off the page, brackets, journaling that is left bound, a swirl, 7 flowers, 3 patterned papers, 2 solids and something on your page has to be made using the custom cutter tool.

Credits: Blue and Brown Flowers by C Renee from Stand Up and Scrap Kit, Brackets by Jackie Eckles from her Textured Brackets Freebie (you can find these on the LDD blog with the Recipe Challenge), Stitched Flowers were made by me using Banner Woman’s Simple Stitching (Commercial Use), and the papers, swirl and chipboard numbers were created by me with some help from Atomic Cupcake and GraphicsFactory.com and are available in the 1965 Freebie Kit below (click preview to download).
